Syngenta first-quarter sales down 7 percent on currencies, weak Latam business

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Syngenta , the Swiss pesticides and seeds maker that is being taken over by state-owned ChemChina, aforementioned first-quarter sales declined 7 pct, damage by a quick buck and a drop at its Latin American business.
