Pedestrian dies as car hits lamppost

A man died when he was potty by a car, which so crashed into a lamppost and swage on a highway in Liverpool.


The 26-year-old male driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing wipeout by dangerous impetuous, Merseyside Police aforesaid. Arrest services were called to Aigburth Itinerary at about 18.50 BST on Tuesday after reports a white Volkswagen Golf had hit the zimmer.



He was hardened for multiple injuries but died at the view. The driver, from Widnes , was taken to hospital to be set for petty injuries sooner being taken into custody at a law place in Merseyside.



The victim has not yet been formally identified and officers are nerve-wracking to lead his undermentioned of kin.
